Elisha Cuthbert Marries Dion Phaneuf
A Happy Ending, indeed! Actress Elisha Cuthbert married Dion Phaneuf, defenseman and captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team, on Saturday, July 6.
The ceremony took place at St. James Catholic Church in Summerfield, Prince Edward Island, Canada, with a reception at the groom's giant waterfront estate nearby.

As for the stunning location, the 30-year-old Happy Endings star told the Summerside Journal Pioneer (via the National Post) in 2008 that the couple enjoyed the privacy of it. "It’s such a quiet place that we can be ourselves and not get bothered too much and have a real summer away from the hustle and bustle of our lives,” she explained.
Back in December, a source revealed to Us Weekly that the actress, who's starred in the TV series 24 and movies Love, Actually, The Girl Next Door, and House of Wax, wanted the wedding to be "formal."
"The wedding will be in tents, and if it's not raining, the tents will be open," the insider revealed. "There will be fireworks while guests are eating and food trucks at midnight, courtesy of the in-laws."
The Canadian-born star has been dating the 28-year-old hockey player since 2008. They got engaged in September 2012.
