Jennifer Love Hewitt Quits Twitter

Jennifer Love Hewitt won't be discussing her pregnancy or anything else, for that matter via her official Twitter account. The Client List actress quit the social networking site on Wednesday, July 3.

"Unfortunately with all the negativity people choose to send on Twitter as well as threats to their own well being, I'm sad to say Twitter is no longer for me," wrote the star, who has more than 600,000 followers. "I have enjoyed all the kindness and love that came my way, as well as support. But this break is needed."

Hewitt added, "Life should be filled with positivity and holding each other up, not making threats and sending bad vibes. To those of you who made it a joy, Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

The actress got engaged to her Client List costar Brian Hallisay in late May during a trip to Italy. The actors, both 34, play spouses on the Lifetime hit, which has not yet been renewed for a third season. After Us Weekly exclusively broke the news of Hewitt's pregnancy and engagement, the couple said they were "so thrilled and happy to start a family."
