When Salman Khan entertained fishermen community

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan along with Raj Thackeray, founder of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) inaugurated the 'Koli Mahotsav' - a three-day festival showcasing the rich culture of the fishermen community at Mahim beach in Mumbai.

The festival is expected to have participation from almost all fishing villages in and around Mumbai.

Besides koli dance performances, a wide range of fish and seafood items at the stalls are the major attraction.

The koli community is an ethnic group found throughout the coastal regions and is also one of the original inhabitants of Greater Mumbai.
