Actress Kristen Stewart will star in the sequel of "Snow White and the Huntsman".
Adam Fogelson, chairman of Universal Pictures, confirmed that Stewart is playing the lead in the sequel slated to release in 2015, reports contactmusic.com.
According to JustJared.com, the studio executive confirmed that Stewart has signed for the film at the CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas but there is no word whether the other cast are returning to the project.
Stewart, who has rekindled her relationship with boyfriend Robert Pattinson following her affair with the "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, said she is excited about the sequel and predicted it would be amazing.
