Ileana to gain weight?

It has been ages since anyone has seen Ileana on Telugu screen as she moved away to Mumbai. Even in Mumbai, she was seen in 'BARFI' and after that she is not even seen in any movie thereafter. But the distinction is, when Ileana was in South, she had the appropriate shapes and irresistible waist in the whole industry.

However, after going to Bollywood she reduced like a matchstick. Anyways, the latest information is that the Goan lady has made the decision to re-size her personality and put on some weight.

Lately, companies Hansika and others have put on weight and are looking voluptuously sexy. Many heroines in southern are doing the same. By putting on some flesh they look healthier too.

It is observed that even Ileana also wants to do the same. This including bodyweight problem is now delivering feelers that maybe Ileana is rethinking of coming back to southern. If that is real then it would be an event for her lovers. Even otherwise, Ileana always looks her best when she has those delightful shapes.

"All the three lead actors are playing out-of-the-box, and extremely interesting characters in Barfee," said Anurag Basu, the film's director, "Ranbir Kapoor, as everyone knows, is playing a deaf and mute boy, Priyanka Chopra is not mentally-challenged as reported, but is mildly autistic (a form of mental illness that causes a person to withdraw into a private world of fantasy and be unable to communicate with others or respond to his/her real environment) in the film.

Ileana D'Cruz, on the other hand, is playing a character who will be seen aging from a 19-year-old to 30 to a 65 year-old," stated Basu. The 24-year-old D'Cruz is a model-turned actress, who has been part of several South films including the superhit, Pokkiri. Barfee is her first Hindi film.

The shooting of Barfee took off on June 14 at Darjeeling where Ranbir and Ileana are participating in a 10-day schedule. The hill station is Ranbir's hometown in the film and will be showcased as never before. After a 15-day gap, the shooting will continue in Mumbai, where Priyanka will start working for her part in August. As for the title Barfee, it was chosen because Ranbir's name in the film is Murphy, and being mute, he mumbles it as barfee!

Ileana D'Cruz denies Catfight

Pretty actress Ileana rubbishes reports about her alleged “catfight” with Priyanka Chopra in Barfee, and about she insisting on “extra” footage in the romantic comedy. She claims that the schedule was not deferred as reported; rather she was supposed to start shooting from June 1.

“She was shocked with these baseless reports since the rumours cropped up even before she commenced shooting for the film. Although she has met Ranbir Kapoor once, she hasn’t even met Priyanka,” says a source close to the actor.

The source adds that if the role hadn’t been challenging, the South superstar wouldn’t have signed the B-town film in the first place.

“Director Anurag Basu etched out prominent and significant roles for both Priyanka and Ileana, so there is no room for silly catfights,” she adds. But, is Ileana slightly wary of the hostile B-town press? “She is preparing herself mentally to overlook the false reports and focus on her work,” she states.

It looks like it’s the season of “denials” for Ileana, but the strong girl is confident of bouncing back!

Vijay and Ileana off to Netherlands for Nanban movie

Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Ileana are flying to Amsterdam in Netherlands, for Shankar's Nanban song picturisation. Nanban is a remake of Aamir Khan's Raju Hirani directed classic 3 Idiots.

Amsterdam is one of Shankar's favourite locations, especially the Tulip Gardens, 'discovered' first by Yash Chopra, in the famous Silsila song.

Shankar has done even better during the 'Flower Festival of the Keukenhof Gardens' in full bloom with tulips and other flowers making it a riot of colour on screen for the Kumari, Kumari song in Anniyan. The song featured Vikram and Sada, with Vivek in the background.

Now Shankar and Harris Jayaraj the Anniyan composer have come out with a peppy melody which will be picturised on Vijay and Ileana in Amsterdam and partly in Zurich in Switzerland.

Shankar and his team will be leaving for Amsterdam today (May 4) and will be back by May 10 or 11.
