Rhea Chakraborty gets groped by a stranger!
Rhea Chakraborty, who made her acting debut in Sumanth Ashwin's Tuneega Tuneega, got the shock of her life when she was groped by a stranger in broad daylight in Mumbai. A visibly shocked and upset Rhea took to her micro-blogging page to vent out her anger about the incident and said, "Mumbai is so unsafe, it's scary to another level..I am absolutely frustrated with the men in this country .. Here this out, it's ridiculous (sic)." Recalling the incident, she explained, "I just got groped by a very well dressed man who casually walks into my building in broad daylight, with 2 watchmen chilling in the building. Can a girl not walk in to her own building at 5 pm.. Where is the fucking guarantee of not getting molested (sic)."
In the end, she managed to rescue herself from more trouble with some timely action. "Luckily, I take martial arts classes and I managed to kick him real hard.. And screamed so he ran away.. But Mumbai is suffocatingly unsafe. Action needs to be taken , or are we waiting for 1000s more to get molested.. ?? Is anyone going to bother , elections are round the corner! (sic)," she said.
After acting in Tuneega Tuneega, she went on to make her Bollywood debut in Ashima Chibber's Mere Dad Ki Maruti and this year, she'll soon be seen in another Hindi film, Sonali Cable.

Kristina Akheeva to debut in Tollywood
Kristina Akheeva, who was last seen in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, in which she teamed up with Sunny Deol, is all set to make her debut in Tollywood in Aadi-Erica starrer Gaalipatam. "The strangest thing I have heard about myself is that I have done an item number in the NTR Jr-starrer Baadshah. It's not just people in the industry, but even some of my closest friends who've got confused," she laughs, adding, "Gaalipatam is my debut film in Telugu and I have just started shooting for it. I must add that I have grown fond of Hyderabad. It's a lot better in terms of cleanliness than most other cities."
Born and brought up in Russia, her family moved to Australia when she was seven years old and in 2008, she enrolled in an acting school in Melbourne; however, she dabbled in modelling before bagging acting offers. "Acting has been my dream; but I couldn't let go opportunities in modelling. It gave me a chance to travel around the world. And then, when I was in India on an assignment, I was approached for Yamla Pagla Deewana 2," she recalls.
The transition from modelling to acting, that too in Hindi, has been anything but smooth. "It's quite difficult to act in a foreign language, no matter how well trained you are.We struggle all the time because we are never quite sure about what we are doing and on top of that,we have to focus on getting the dialogues right. But then, the fact that I am able to do this is, in a way, an achievement for me." Talking about travelling, Kristina reveals, "It's been my passion for a long time. There's so much to see and do in India. In the past few years, I have visited a lot of ashrams since I am into meditation."

CCL is all about the spirit of the game : Shruti Haasan
In the midst of all the excitement surrounding the nail-biting finishes in CCL 4, actress Shruti Haasan is thrilled about how the event has evolved over the past few years. In 2013, she was chosen as the brand ambassador of Chennai Rhinos and earlier this year, she was named as the brand ambassador of CCL.
Interestingly, she went on to act in a string of successful films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi in the past one year. "I'm from Chennai and I was more than happy to cheer for the Chennai Rhinos last year. I'm really fond of the Telugu and Hindi film industries as well. So, there's no question of being partial to any team. Besides, it is a lot convenient for me to cheer for everyone," shares Shruti.
"The best part of CCL," she says, "is that it has brought the film fraternities from different regions under one umbrella. As actors, our interactions with each other are quite limited. Be it award ceremonies or other such rare occasions, no other event gives us the scope as CCL does, to bond with each other. And I think that's a great thing." Shruti admits that she was quite fond of the game as a kid; however, she hasn't played the game in years.
Beyond all the fun and frolic associated with the tournament, Shruti reveals that it's heartening to see actors play their heart out. "It is all about the spirit of the game. Whether you are a star or not, we have seen how passionate everyone is about winning. It's not everyday that you get to see so many actors come together to play. For people too, it's a different experience, because they get to see their favourite actors in a completely different light," avers Shruti.
Despite her hectic shooting schedule over the last couple of months, during which she had been shuttling between Mumbai and Hyderabad, Shruti attended almost all the CCL matches. Ask her how she managed it and pat comes the reply, "You know, these days, all I know is when I have to eat, sleep and wake up. But I have a great team who tell me what to do."
The actor has just wrapped up shooting for her upcoming Telugu film, Race Gurram, for which she has also sung a peppy soundtrack. "I've been quite fortunate to have worked with several musicians including Ilayaraja, Harris Jayaraj among others. I love Thaman's rhythmic programming in his composition and it's so energetic. It's also the first time I've sung a song in the electronic music genre in Telugu," she reveals.
Meanwhile, she has been reportedly approached for Mani Ratnam's upcoming multi-starrer and another Tamil film with Vishal is on the cards. "It's too early to talk about my next set of projects," she signs off.
Watch CCL LIVE on Rishtey. The finals will take place in LB Stadium, Hyderabad on February 23, 5 pm.

Pawan Kalyan sets new record in Nizam
The recently released Attarintiki Daredi is continuing on it record breaking run at the BO unabated. The film has been doing great business all over the state and has achieved a new benchmark by grossing over Rs 20 crore (share) in the Nizam territory today. The only other film to have achieved the landmark is Ram Charan's Magadheeara in 2009.
Industry insiders tip the movie is poised to become of the highest grosser of all time in Tollywood history.
Trade analysts conjecture that if the movie continues on its bull run at the BO it could well go on to become the highest grossing Telugu movie of all time. If that indeed happens, Pawan Kalyan will emerge as the undisputed king of Telugu cinema.
Many of his fans however believe that Pawan is the biggest superstar in the business today as the record breaking success came after a 90 minute pirated version was leaked well before the movie released.
Rambha making a comeback
Rambha is well-known for glam quotient and meaty roles. She was one of the leading heroines in the late 90's where she paired up with stars like Chiranjeevi (Bavagaru Bagunnara, Hitler), Balakrishna and Venkatesh.
But Rambha disappeared from limelight very soon. She entered a wedlock with an NRI businessman and took a break from acting. She even have a baby girl. And buzz is that she got separated from her hubby. Apparently, Rambha is planning for a grand comeback. And strong rumour is that she is going to bounce back with a proposed Tamil film.
Now Rambha is looking forward to begin her second innings in showbiz. And no, she doesn't want to stick to lead roles and apparently she is open to do supporting roles. Buzz is that Rambha has signed a Tamil film where she plays elder sister to young hero Simbhu. If things fall in place, she will also do such roles in Telugu too very soon.
Rambha was last appeared in two special songs- opposite Allu Arjun in Desa Muduru and Yama Donga. Ever since, she has been staying away. Let's hope Rambha's second innings work out well.

Closer to the 100 films landmark: Nagarjuna
Style icon Nagarjuna is one actor who doesn't shy away from experimenting and trying out new roles in his films. But after playing different characters in films like Shiridi Sai, Dhamarukam and Greekuveerudu, the actor seems to be back to the entertainment formula for his 95th film, Bhai. "Yes, the film is a complete action packed entertainer," shares Nagarjuna, adding that like the title suggests, the film is about 'sister sentiment' and also has a mafia backdrop. "You will get to see a lot of punch lines and humour in the film," he adds. Richa Gangopadhyay is playing the female lead opposite Nag in the film.
When quizzed as to why he was back to the regular masala formula, he says, "If you check the top actors of Hollywood or Bollywood, they all stick to entertainment-based films. Entertainment is now a worldwide phenomenon, since even action films contain the same formula as that of a commercial movie."
With this film, Nagarjuna is one step closer to his 100 films landmark. "This is my 95th film. I just got to know about this, and like a century is a landmark in any field, it is a special number in films too. I want my 100th film to be a memorable one," signs off Nagarjuna.

It has been ages since anyone has seen Ileana on Telugu screen as she moved away to Mumbai. Even in Mumbai, she was seen in 'BARFI' and after that she is not even seen in any movie thereafter. But the distinction is, when Ileana was in South, she had the appropriate shapes and irresistible waist in the whole industry.
However, after going to Bollywood she reduced like a matchstick. Anyways, the latest information is that the Goan lady has made the decision to re-size her personality and put on some weight.
Lately, companies Hansika and others have put on weight and are looking voluptuously sexy. Many heroines in southern are doing the same. By putting on some flesh they look healthier too.
It is observed that even Ileana also wants to do the same. This including bodyweight problem is now delivering feelers that maybe Ileana is rethinking of coming back to southern. If that is real then it would be an event for her lovers. Even otherwise, Ileana always looks her best when she has those delightful shapes.

Nayantara, Waste Of Time!!!
The return of this dazzling diva to silver screen after some hiatus is not proved worthy till date. At no time, Mallu babe Nayantara got herself catapulted into new league with her acts. Check this out.
Much hyped make-up and break-up has made Nayantara stand at crossroads and right now she is picking some semi-commercial roles that are not yielding fruits. Both 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum' and 'Greeku Veerudu' haven't showcased any possibility that Nayan will be making it big in Tollywood in the near future. Also her latest item-song acts in Tamil movie 'Ethir Neechal' too looked a waste of time. What puzzled many people is why this seductress has accepted such a miniscule role of a dancer in an item song? Maybe the diva should rethink of what films she is picking and what sort of slot she is targeting.
Cine observers however say that Nayan's upcoming remake of 'Kahani' under Sekhar Kammula's direction will be a turning point in her career. Tentatively titled as 'Anamika', this flick holds a string for a golden success, but if that too fails Nayan will be under trouble.

Mahesh babu took 40 takes for a scene?
Mahesh Babu is known as a single take artist in the industry and his acting prowess surprised even some of the tough taskmasters like Teja during the shooting of 'Nijam'. No one would expect an artiste like him to go for about 40 retakes for a scene. Unfortunately, the same thing happened during the shooting of his upcoming flick in the direction of Sukumar.
We have seen over the years that Sukumar never compromises on the output until he gets what he has envisioned. On the other hand, Mahesh being a director's hero goes to any extent to satisfy the captain of the ship.
For a sequences of getting down from a bike in a stylish manner, our Superstar have taken 40 takes to get the nod from the director. It's not that all the 39 takes were bad, but they haven't turned out in a way Sukumar wants that particular scene to be.
Of course, Mahesh Babu willn't feel proud about what has happened but Sukumar's zeal to produce a quality product makes him take everything in the right spirit. That's the story of Superstar and his 40 takes!
Double dhamaka for Colors Swathi
Actress Swathi is all smiles and for good reason too. She is not just basking in the success of her latest Tollywood outing, Swami Ra Ra, but also of her Malayalam debut, Amen. "I'm glad that both my films are hits. Originally, my Telugu film was supposed to have released long ago, but we waited for the right time and somehow, it just clicked," she says.
Talking about her debut Malayalam movie, she says, "We worked very hard for this film which showcases magical realism — a new genre in recent times. My character, Soshanna, is not a typical heroine and is in full control of her life. She is not afraid to express herself. I'm glad to have got such a great debut," she says. The actress will be in Delhi on Tuesday to showcase the film to the media.
There are also reports that the actress has signed another Malayalam film London Bridge. "I got the offer, but they wanted to shoot for the film for two months continuously abroad and I have to check my schedule before signing the film," she says.
With the success of Swami Ra Ra, Swathi has many Telugu offers coming her way too. "I am listening to some scripts right now and I will announce the details soon," says Swathi, whose upcoming film, Bangaru Kodipetta is ready to hit the screens. Swathi is also working on a Tamil film, Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara.

Samantha and fans help bomb blast victim
At a time when many fans associations and their favourite stars are busy with fighting for records and blood donation camps, here is a group that actively works for welfare for society. Is she is a goddess on silver screen, she is sure a human being par excellence off the screen.

Tollywood daddies want Tamannaah too
Tamannaah's Bollywood outing may not have gone as well as she had hoped, but the actress is still hot property here in T-town. A Ram Charan or Naga Chaitanya wanting to pair up with a hit heroine like her isn't surprising. But what's funny is their daddies too want to share screenspace with the pretty woman! In an interesting pattern observed, the older Tollywood lot have been openly expressing their desire to work with the young actress. Tamannaah, who has teamed up with almost all the top heroes amongst the current crop - Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Ram Charan, Prabhas and Allu Arjun among others - has become the top choice for the 'seniors' too.
Not too long ago, Chiranjeevi, during the audio launch of the Ram Charan-starrer Racha said he would like to work with the actress and wants to cast her opposite him in his (ever elusive) 150th film. "After watching Tamannaah's glam performance in Racha, I was toying with the idea of roping her in as the leading lady for my 150th film. In fact, when someone was asking about my 150th film, I was enquiring whether Tamannaah will agree to be paired opposite me or not. Also, I was pondering about how it looks if I share screen space with Tamannaah, who worked with Charan!" quipped Chiranjeevi.
And the Akkineni clan wasn't far behind either! During the recent audio launch of Naga Chaitanya's Tadakha, papa Nagarjuna was quite impressed with Tamannaah's glam quotient too. "Whenever I meet Tamannaah, I always tell her, 'You look so beautiful'. And I hope some day, we both can do a film together," he said in jest.
Even Akkineni Nageswara Rao couldn't help but add a line about how he thought about working with Tamannaah as well. And he even quipped that he was jealous that his grandson (Naga Chaitanya) grabbed the chance first! "After watching Tamannaah, my heart says that I'm just 25! In fact, I'm ready to wear a wig and act with her. I'm really wondering why I couldn't get a chance to act opposite her," he joked.
