Pawan Kalyan sets new record in Nizam

The recently released Attarintiki Daredi is continuing on it record breaking run at the BO unabated. The film has been doing great business all over the state and has achieved a new benchmark by grossing over Rs 20 crore (share) in the Nizam territory today. The only other film to have achieved the landmark is Ram Charan's Magadheeara in 2009.

Industry insiders tip the movie is poised to become of the highest grosser of all time in Tollywood history.

Trade analysts conjecture that if the movie continues on its bull run at the BO it could well go on to become the highest grossing Telugu movie of all time. If that indeed happens, Pawan Kalyan will emerge as the undisputed king of Telugu cinema.

Many of his fans however believe that Pawan is the biggest superstar in the business today as the record breaking success came after a 90 minute pirated version was leaked well before the movie released.

Kajal Agarwal for Pawan Kalyan?

Grapevine has it that makers of Pawan Kalyan's next project to be directed by Sampath Nandi are on the look out for a leading lady. Sources close to the producers say that they are looking to rope in a big star for the movie. Apparently Kajal Aggarwal is on the radar.

Actress Kajal Aggarwal is sitting pretty these days with four back to back hits - Businessman, Thupaki, Naayak and Special 26 - in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Her next release, Baadshah is all set to make a huge splash across the state and if it turns out to be a success, it will make it five hits in a row for her. Naturally she is tipped to be the top contender for the role, by virtue of being the only top heroine among the current crop to have not acted with Pawan.
