Supermodel Miranda Kerr says that she talks to her former husband and actor Orlando Bloom every day and that they still have a good platonic relationship.

Kerr and Bloom, parents to three-year-old son Flynn, called off their three-year marriage in October last year, reports contactmusic.com.

"We speak every day. We're really close, we're going to be a family forever and we both really do love each other. We have genuine love and respect for each other. We're very connected and I feel grateful for that," said Kerr.

"We created something beautiful together and we both remind ourselves how lucky we are to have that. And yeah, it's good. He's a great dad. I'm lucky. Everyone goes through challenging periods in their life. That's inevitable and it's part of being human," she added.

She continued: "I feel like it's a daily process to be positive. It's something that's a choice and I have different tools, like meditation, even prayer and my grandmother taught me to pray when I was young - and just finding that inner peace."

Supermodel Miranda Kerr's three-year-old son Flynn is already well-versed with healthy lifestyle.

"The other day he was like, 'Mama, I want to make a smoothie.' He wanted to make his own smoothie, and then he said, 'This one's for you. It's full of antioxidants,'" people.com quoted her as saying. "He's three years old, how does he know that? He obviously heard me talking," she added.

Kerr's son is also part of her fitness routine: "We dance all the time, he loves it. It's one of his favourite things."

Supermodel Miranda Kerr has confirmed that she is not renewing her contract with Victoria's Secret.

In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Kerr hinted at bigger moves in her future than walking lingerie runways.

The 29-year-old, who's married to Orlando Bloom, said she's been modeling since she was 13 years old. She explained that she's entering a new phase in her life and has felt this coming since her son was born, and after realizing that she needs to prioritize her time after she became a mother, People Magazine reported.

And those new priorities include managing her Kora Organics beauty line and other upcoming projects.

The beauty insisted that she's reached a point in her career where she's developing her own opportunities that are really reflective of her passions.

The beauty said that she is too busy to make major commitments - like Victoria's Secret contracts.

She further said that she's not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time in her life.

"It's three months at a bare minimum," she added.
